Dry Eye is one of the most under treated and most common diseases of the eye.  Over 40 million people suffer from dry eye.  

Our office now offers state of the art diagnostic testing for dry eye and the latest treatment options for all types of dry eyes.  We offer the TearLab testing for increased osmolarity diagnosis and mmP-9 testing for inflammatory indicators.  We offer Prokera treatment disks.  Prokera, amniotic tissue, is the latest in severe dry eye treatment to inhibit inflammation.  We have years of experience in the use of Punctal Plugs as an alternative to long tern use of drops or therapeutics. Our doctors have taken special interest in advanced dry eye diagnosis and treatment.

NOW OFFERING YAG LASER FOR AFTER CATARACT SURGERY. During cataract surgery the surgeon will leave a thin capsule to hold the intra-ocular lens and keep the vitreous, a jell-like substance in the back of the eye, in place. This allows for a safer faster recovery.  After cataract surgery 30-40% of patients will develop hazy, cloudy or opacity on the capsule.  The YAG laser will open a small hole in the capsule to allow the patient to regain normal visual acuity.  Our office is one of a select few Optometrists in Indiana providing the procedure.
